Hamburg, Germany, August 17, 2017 – Simufact, an MSC Software company, is inviting to a 1-day workshop on simulation and forging processes. The workshop is jointly organized with SinusPro and HGC Consultant at the International Forgemasters Meeting (IFM) in Graz, Austria, on September 12, 2017.
Within this fee-based workshop, all opportunities of actual “state of the art” forging simulation will be shown by use of Simufact simulation software. In addition to simulation techniques, best practice examples will explain the data needed for defining all relevant process parameters and forging equipment models. This workshop will demonstrate how forging simulation can help in daily forging business, but will also discuss and explain how simulation results have to be implemented in the development process including improvement of die life time and process optimization.
The costs for IFM-participants are 125 Euros, for non-participants 250 Euros.
Visit Simufact webpage in order to read all relevant information for the workshop.
Registration is possible until August 12, 2017. Please send an e-mail to email@example.com or call: +49 (0)40 790 128-000.
Meet Simufact at the International Forgemasters Meeting
Simufact will present their solutions during the three-day conference: Conference attendees visiting the Simufact booth are introduced into Simufact’s solution for the simulation of all common forging processes. With its modular approach, Simufact Forming covers a broad spectrum of all common forging processes: From cold and hot forging to rolling processes up to open die forging processes.
In addition, Dr. Ingo Neubauer, Director Research & Innovation at Simufact, examine the steady trend towards higher specifications and performance indicators in his presentation Virtual Hedging of Added Value for incremental formed parts.
