Samara National Research University and MSC Software to establish MSC Competence Center

Samara (Russian Federation), April 17, 2018 – Samara National Research University and MSC Software have entered into a partnership to create a Competence Center at the university´s Institute of Engine and Power Plant Engineering.

The Competence Center will allow Samara University to solve engineering challenges, and demonstrate the solutions to the industrial enterprises of the region.

Samara University has chosen to employ MSC software solutions for the technical preparation of production: MSC Apex, a unified CAE environment for virtual product development, and MSC´s Simufact solution portfolio for manufacturing simulation, including Simufact Forming, Simufact Welding, and Simufact Additive to better prepare students who are starting their careers.
